Ishant Sharma flags off BFI’s national safety ride

Biker, and Indian cricket team captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is BFI’s brand ambassador. Bike festival of India strives to grow as a platform for the biking community while stressing on importance of safe biking. BFI National Safety Ride sees six male and three female bikers take on the journey. Triumph Motorcycles, official bike partner of National Safety Ride also steps in to spread safe biking awareness. This sees a Triumph Speed Triple and Triumph Thunderbird Storm embark on the journey.

Riders Rahul Sharma, Rohan Monga, Jaspreet Aiden, R Venkat Raman, Sheetal Bidaye, Urvashi Patole, Pratish Ambekar, Anjaly Rajan and Sunil Gupta will traverse 8100 kms over 30 days with halts at Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Cochin, Kolkata and Chandigarh. They will also halt at Triumph Motorcycles showrooms along the way.

Cricketer Ishant Sharma spoke about being a biking enthusiast, and views Bike Festival of India as a perfect platform to foster a strong biking culture in India while prioritising safe biking awareness. Arun Pandey, CMD, Rhiti Sports said today is an important day since it’s National flag day and BFI National Safety Ride is a tribute to this.

Alok Jalan, MD, Laqshya Media Group looks forward to catering to the whole biking community with emphasis not only on biking and adventure but also entertainment and fun for youth and biking enthusiasts. Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India Pvt Ltd expressed pride in the association with BFI as official safety ride sponsor.

Akbar Ebrahim, Deputy Representative, FMSCI said the concept of safety awareness, Motorsport and passion for biking remains an integral aspect of BFI. FMSCI is delighted to support BFI as the entity avails all necessary permits from FMSCI, and abiding by guidelines.

Vikram Shankar, and Ikjot Singh look towards the safety ride not only to create awareness on safe biking but also as an opportunity to engage with bikers across India to build the community and gear up for the mega bike festival.
