Jaguar caught testing prototype of 3 Series, A4 and C Class rival
Its been quite some time that Jaguar has been rumored to be working on a new small luxury car which will compete with 3 Series, C Class, and A4. This was just a rumor, as there was no official word from Jaguar and no such car had been spotted, until now.
This new model range will be based on their Lightweight Architecture aluminum platform. Though the images here show that the prototype is carrying ‘XF’ fittings, but the shorter doors and adjusted roofline are proof that these are the shots of Jaguar’s long awaited rival to BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes Benz C Class. As of now, this prototype has no name, and is codenamed X760. It might carry the name XS, and will be ready for markets by early 2015.
