F-Type soft top convertible sports car possesses new supercharged Jaguar engines – a 3 liter supercharged V6 offering 340 hp and 380 hp and a 5 liter supercharged V8 offering 495 hp and 460 lb/ft torque. These are equipped with Start/Stop system which adds to fuel efficiency under certain driving conditions.
Jaguar engineers have constructed F-Type aluminum body to be the most advanced, rigid and lightweight. It possesses a soft top that can be lowered and fully raised in just 12 seconds at speeds upto 30 mph. The soft top is made of special multilayered material which includes Thinsulate lining possessing both thermal and sound insulating properties. F-Type will be available at company showrooms from summer 2013 while prices commence from £58,000.

New Jaguar two seater sports car grabs global spotlight with its debut at 2012 Paris Motor Show
The all-new Jaguar F-TYPE two seater sports car was awarded with the 2012 Autoweek Editors’ Choice Award for Best in Show at the Paris Motor Show.

Powered respectively by 340hp and 380hp versions of Jaguar’s new 3.0-liter V6 supercharged engine and a new derivative of its 5.0-liter V8 supercharged unit, each F-TYPE is engineered for pure dynamic driving reward and stunning performance. The F-TYPE will be available from Summer 2013 starting from £58,000.
