Land Rover sales accounted for 25,454 vehicles equating to 14% sales growth, also an achievement. For the year, JLR sales stand at 241,801 cars, which equates to 15% sales growth.
In a region wise breakup, JLR July sales in Asia Pacific were up by 43%, China Region 36%, North America 31%, UK 8%, and other overseas markets 29%. Europe sales were flat last month. YTD sales were up in Asia Pacific by 29%, China Region by 18%, North America and the UK by 15% each, Europe by 5%, and other overseas markets up by 20%.
For Jaguar, XF is doing well, and F-TYPE commands a presence. XJ sales were up 52% with great results in US and China. YTD Jaguar sales stand at 43,793 vehicles,k equating to 33% sales growth. Land Rover YTD sales stand at 198,008 cars, up 11%. Jaguar F-TYPE was launched in India in early July, and this week hosted their ‘YOUR TURN’ Chennai event.
