Jaguar Mourinho Challenge in Europe through 2014 World Cup
Weekend before last, Jaguar announced UK brand ambassador Jose Mourinho the face of European Social Media campaign, ‘The Mourinho Challenge’. Jaguar’s virtual summer football initiative beckons football fans across Europe to predict the winners and losers in Brazil.
Jaguar’s voting App is available across the automaker’s European Social Media platforms for a chance to win a 3 month F-TYPE CoupĂ© experience. Once registered via the Mourinho Challenge App, participants can take on the challenge and invite friends to play through 2014 World Cup. A leadership board lists where contenders stand. Mourinho Challenge winner needs to meet the ‘Special One’s’ wits and display football prowess second to none.
And when it comes to wits, Jaguar hasn’t done too bad for themselves. Playing with the ‘Special One’s’ characteristic dark undertones, Jaguar’s visual for the campaign says, ‘Let the games begin’. The first thing that comes to mind is Bane saying ‘Let the games begin!’ in The Dark Knight Rises.
Participants have to be 25. Participating countries include Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Jose Mourinho spoke of his excitement in extending his partnership with Jaguar into Europe. As the first customer in UK to take delivery of the new F-TYPE Coupe, he emphasises that a chance to drive it for 3 months is an exciting prospect for fans and enthusiasts.
