Jaguar XE advertised via camouflaged BMW, Audi & Mercedes Benz cars

Jaguar XE is slated for unveil on 8th September 2014 in London; new promotional activity has kicked off, which uses BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes Benz C Class cars! These cars are camouflaged like test mules and let to wander in streets of Germany with prominent stickers pasted around them, reading ‘der-neue.com’ (means the-new.com).

Jaguar-XE-der-neueUntil spotters pull their smartphones out and get into the link, they would be under the impression that upcoming models of those cars are being tested by respective companies. As now you can guess, the web link takes you to advertisement page of Jaguar XE, where e-mail subscription for updates on XE and social media sharing of der-neue.com page can be done.

Further, text on webpage reads “Learn more about the new Jaguar on 29/07/2014″ (in German). After subscribing, it says “On July 29, you will be informed by e-mail.” It is very likely that Jaguar will show the true skin of new XE sedan. Otherwise, what would Jaguar possibly reveal on the date?

New XE compact premium saloon by Jaguar will be powered by new ‘Ingenium’ range of 2.0 litre 4 cylinder engines, lower spec mated to rear and higher end sending power to all wheels. Announced by Jaguar, first volume production engine will be 2.0 litre turbo diesel unit, while 2.0 litre turbocharged gas engine will be made available on later stage.
