Just a month prior to release of â€˜Skyfallâ€™, Daniel Craig successfully completed his course on responsible driving and received his US license. Unexpected but true, the 007 star who has been seen whizzing around in some of the most luxurious of vehicles needed to go through a complete regimen of tasks in order to receive this valid US license.
According to New York State Department of Motor Vehicles Web site, foreigners must pass a written test, complete a grueling five-hour prelicensing driving-safety course and pass a stringent road test in order to qualify for a driverâ€™s license. Daniel Craig and gone through the entire gamut of formalities and even took a classroom course which included videos and lectures on proper turns, driving under extreme weather condition, dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and parallel parking and three point turns.
Craig, who now lives in New York with his wife Rachel Weisz needed to have a US driving license and has passed his American test in his first attempt. He now carries his driving license with a photo ID which is used as the primary form of identification in the US and is valid for a period of 10 years.
