Car enthusiast and host of ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’, Jay Leno, helped to auction his Fiat 500 Prima Edizone for $600,000 which was donated to charity. The exact amount raised from the auction was $350,000 while $250,000 was raised from the audience, and Gooding & Co.

The funds collected through the auction and donations from last weekend will go to the Fisher house Foundation. According to stats, this is the highest ever bid placed for a Fiat 500. The crowd had a wonderful time with Jay Leno as he encouraged the crowd to bid higher until the final bid came from Bill Munday of South point Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. According to leno it was amazing to see that a humble FIAT 500 rake in the price of a Ferrari pricing for such a noble cause.

The Fisher House Foundation is charitable organization that provides people with a place to stay for families and relations of patients who receive medical help at military medical centers and VA medical centers. There are about 57 such locations spread in USA and Germany.
