JD Power Asia Pacific awards 2012 for passenger vehicles and tyres

JD Power and associates, a leading marketing and research firm have announced their awards for the year 2012. These results on the most dependable vehicles are based on consumer and business customer responses on auto brands and services, and reflect what consumers of these products and services actually think about them.  Determination of winners is based on consumers and business customers’ responses on a yearly basis from those who have used or owned vehicles from  auto brands and services being rated.

This year, recipients to these awards are based on studies conducted for the following. 2012 India Original Equipment Tire Customer Satisfaction Index (TCSI) Study,  2012 India Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS), 2012 India Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) Study, 2012 India Customer Satisfaction Study (CSI), 2012 India Initial Quality Study (IQS) and, 2012 India Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study.

Wnners of these prestigious awards were Hyundai Santro, the most dependable compact car; Hyundai i20, the most dependable premium compact car; Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, most dependable entry midsize car; Hyundai Verna, most dependable midsized car; Honda Civic most dependable premium midsized car and Innova was declared as the most dependable MIV/MPV. 2012 India Original Equipment Tyre Customer Satisfaction Index award went to MRF for Highest Customer Satisfaction with Original Tires. 2012 India Customer Satisfaction Study SM (CSI) Nameplate in Customer Satisfaction award went to Maruti Suzuki, while 2012 India Initial Quality Study SM (IQS) Best Compact Car in Initial Quality was the Hyundai Santro.
