Former Ferrari CEO, and FIA president Mr. Jean Todt was in the financial capital of India last week to promote road safety. During his time in the metropolis, he spoke to key figures in the traffic department and pointed out unfavorable traffic conditions plaguing the country’s roads. He also put forth a number of measures that could be implemented to help lower accidents and improve road safety in India.
The duo also stopped at Ahmedabad to hand out helmets at helmet Chowk earlier in the day. Mr. Gautam Singhania was on hand to receive Mr. Jean Todt at the Raymond Flagship store, Warden Road, Mumbai. Recently in Mumbai, Mr. Singhania founder of the Super Car Club hosted the Parx Super Car Show where many like minded supercar enthusiasts took part.
Mr. J. Todt also took part in the 24th Road Safety Week that is being organized WIAA in collaboration with ICICI Lombard from 1st to 15th of January 2013. Road Safety Week will see lectures being held to educate taxi, auto and bus drivers about relevant road safety procedures and regulations. Promoted through use of electronic media, the Road Safety Week event brought together many individuals and imbibed in them sensitivity towards road safety in order to make the country’s roads safer.
