Delhi: Mission 10000 km is an Yamaha motor India initiative that sees 20 participants take on a country wide journey riding Yamaha’s FZS FI version 2.0 with Blue Core.

Yamaha special edition FZS FI Version 2.0The unique riding opportunity factors in fun, and a tough ride to discover India and was flagged off earlier today from India gate by Bollywood star and Brand ambassador India John Abraham and Miss India 2014, Koyal Rana. Masaki Asano, Managing Director, Yamaha Motor India Sales was in attendance.

20 participating riders met in Delhi, and were divided into two teams of 10 bikers each. One group heads East and the other towards West, and will meet in Chennai, their final checkpoint. Yamaha’s fuel injected FZS FI version 2.0 based on a new tech concept called ‘Blue Core’ will be tested for improved performance in fuel efficiency, acceleration and environmental friendliness.

Yamaha John AbrahamFinalists were selected after auditions including personal interviews and online voting. Applications were received from Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Chandigarh, Bangalore, Kochi, Chennai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad. The event start saw John Abraham gifted his own special edition FZS FI Version 2.0, which he accepted and took for a short spin at the venue.Yamaha hopes to encourage the concept of ‘Touring’ in India.
