This heavily modified Kawasaki Ninja 300 is the first of its kind in the country with a dual disc set up. It is thanks to the handiwork of Vikram and Vijay Varma, owners of the performance store called Motozone, that this unique piece of work has come to the fore. The bike is owned by Farhan Shaikh.
Motozone performance store is located in Mumbai and Pune and has been operational for the past five years tuning and building performance bikes and cars and rebuilding motorcycles for race events and competitions.
The modified Kawasaki Ninja 300 receives a custom made dual disc set up while the list of other modifications include pipercross air filter, all balls tapered roller stem bearing and Earl’s steel braided brake lines. Varma brothers have also included EBC HH rated brake pads at the front and rear along with Ohlins rear shocks and USD front forks with Ohlins fork oil, Brembo RCS 19 Master Cylinder and Brembo Brake Fluid Reservoir and Brembo dot 4 brake fluid as a part of the customization.
Other modifications seen on the Kawasaki Ninja 300 include Kawasaki Z800 front wheel assembly, Custom made USD Fork (Left & Right) Knuckle for front calipers, Motozone Custom Triple Clamp, Custom made Triple Clamp steering shaft and Motozone Custom made T- Plate. The list of modifications conducted by Motozone goes on while it included several lightweight parts and color scheme was also changed to that scene on the Ninja 300 Special Edition.
While the list of modifications numbered over 44, no changes were made to the engine as the said bike continues to sport the same 296cc liquid cooled DOHC parallel twin engine offering 39 bhp power and 28 Nm torque. The entire set of modifications took the performance store over a month to complete while it cost the owner INR 4 lakhs (more than the bike’s cost).
