2014 Kawasaki Z1000 India launch today: Official video and tech specs
Powered by inline 4, four stroke, liquid cooled engine, the new Z1000 superbike will hit Indian streets later today. The 2014 Kawasaki Z1000 made it’s global debut at the Milan Motorcycle Show (EICMA), last month.
With it’s futuristic look, the new Z1000 official video reveals that the bike is inspired from a wild cat, The Black Jaguar. From minimilistic headlights to compact size, the weight of this 1000+ cc machine stands at 221 kgs. The engine delivers a maximum of 140 PS power @ 10,000 rpm and 110 Nm torque at 7,300 rpm. Transmission is taken care by a 6 speed gearbox.
Speaking about their new bike, Kawasaki says, “Z1000 features NEW Uniquely aggressive “Sugomi” styling that gives the Z1000 a distinct predatory look and UPGRADED 1,043cc inline-four with DFI® which offers sharper response that enhances this engine’s already impressive mid-range and top-end power.”
