At the Paris Motor Show, Kia Motors has displayed a range of new cars which include the new Kia Carens, Kia Picanto, Kia Venga, Kia Sorento, Kia Rio, Kia Optima Hybrid, Kia Ray, Kia pro_cee’d, Kia cycles, Kia Picanto and Kia M Concept. All these are on display at the Kia pavilion. Kia Carens vehicle is set to enter markets in the compact MPV segment and can comfortably seat upto 7 adults. It is seen with a new design which has been introduced by Peter Schreyer, design director at Kia Motors.
Interiors of Carens are seen to be more spacious, with customers given an option of five or seven seats which make this vehicle ideal for family outings or for those who are adventurous. There are three separate seats in the second row which fold, slide and heat individually while the third row seats are small, they are suitable for children.
Kia has announced that its new Carens will be powered by a choice of four engine options, two petrol and two diesel units with six gear manual or automatic transmission. These will have output varying from 113hp to 174 hp while auto emissions stand at 118 g/km. Carens is currently priced at £12,750 so one can expect a 5% to 10% increase in the new Carens once it goes on sale in early 2013.

WORLD PREMIERE FOR NEW KIA pro_cee’d AT PARIS MOTOR SHOW
Kia will reveal the third instalment of its second-generation cee’d family, the all-new pro_cee’d three-door hatchback, at the Paris Motor Show on 27 September. The car is expected to go on-sale in the UK in spring 2013.
The sophisticated new pro_cee’d features all the improvements made to the cee’d five-door and cee’d Sportswagon, while dramatically progressing the enhanced sporty appearance that made its predecessor so popular.

Alongside the new Carens on the Kia stand will be the all-new pro_cee’d, also making its world premiere.
