Kia Motors unveils 2014 Sorento SUV (Photos)

Kia Motors, Korea’s second largest automobile manufacturers revealed their new facelifted crossover 2014 Sorento SUV, finally satisfying enthusiasts anticipation and ending months of spy shots and close ups of prototype models. Kia showcased what US markets will be receiving as a 2014 model. The 2014 Sorento SUV updates sees a host of improvements that include styling and equipments besides exterior changes.

Externally the 2014 Sorento SUV from Kia will have hew headlamps with LED positioning lights, re styled tailgate with LED taillights and re-sculpted front and rear bumpers. Alloy wheels of 19” will support the newly designed Sorento body and new chassis. Its interiors are still a mystery but a new LCD instrument cluster, centre stack with 7” screen and a panoramic sun roof are what one can expect once the vehicle is launched.

High in fuel economy and low in auto emissions this is just the SUV that customers will be lapping up once it is launched. Further upgrades include improved ride, better handling and enhanced features. Expected to be premiered later this year at the Paris Auto Show in September.

New Features of the 2014 Kia Sorento SUV include, revised KIA badge on hood, left gate and steering wheel, standard leather seating trim for EX, standard third row seat for LX V6, third-row seat optional in EX V6 and SX models, UVO is offered as an option LX, new LX Convenience Plus Package includes eight-way power driver’s saet, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, floor mats and first-aid kit.
