Rafael Nadal takes new Kia pro_cee’d GT and Kia Sorento keys

Kia Motors and tennis are almost synonymous when it comes to Australian Open. The automaker is a major sponsor of the Australian Open until 2018. Kia also sponsors the Davis Cup. Their tennis association extends to players too having signed Andre Agassi as brand ambassador in the previous decade for the company’s corporate advertising campaign.

His Roland Garros tournament not only saw the ace tennis champ celebrate his birthday during the games, but he also received a Kia pro_cee’d GT.

After the customary photo op, Rafa drove his new car, and in his words, ‘I could drive it and I had a great experience!’ In the run up to Wimbledon, 24th June – 7th July, Rafael Nadal was seen taking keys to a Kia Sorento. For the games this year, Nadal is seeded 5th, and Djokovic 1st. Andy Murray is seeded 2nd, Federer 3rd, and David Ferrer 4th. UPDATE: In a shock defeat, Steve Darcis won over Rafal Nadal in the 1st round of Wimbledon 2013.
