An updated 2013 model of Agera is at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show.  Manufacturers Koenigsegg have confirmed that the supercar is ready for sales during the current year as Agera R, as this new offering will be known will be a super light vehicle which has been developed by the company using a new technology called Aircore Technology.

Agera R is also be the first of its kind to have an engine using Nano surfaced cylinder sleeves so as to ensure better fuel efficiency and reduce friction. Increased power will be seen in the new and updated Agera as it will stand at 960 hp as against earlier 940 hp.  Rpm too has been raised from 7.250 to 7.500 and the R version of Agera will have 1140 hp.

Koenigsegg Agera will be available in both left and right hand drives and will have addition space in boot section making it ideal for long distance travel.  Speeds will be at a maximum of 440 km per hour and acceleration will be from 0 to 300 km per hour in 14.53 seconds and braking from 300 to 0 will be achieved in 6.66 seconds.
