KTM 390 Duke launch 25th June, bookings from 26th June

Those awaiting KTM Duke 390 launch tomorrow, here’s a few tech specs. The 4 stroke single cylinder 6 speed 373.2 cc engine offers 35nm @ 7000 rpm, and 43.5 ps @ 9000 rpm. No one takes orange out of a KTM and one will be seeing the steel trellis frame orange. The bike weighs in at 145 kg without fuel.

Bookings begin on 26th June. Widely anticipated, the latest from Bajaj Auto India finds similarity in the Duke 200 by the looks of it. The liquid cooled Duke 390 engine will command the quickest Indian single cylinder two wheeler. ABS control can be controlled by the rider ensuring stunts progress further.

There’s an under body exhaust, Metzeler Sportec M5 tyres, and monoshock rear suspension. Price estimates range at Rs 2 lakh. This is KTM’s 3rd offering in the small streetbikes segment, that will be produced at the Bajaj Chakan factory, Duke 125, and Duke 200. Though India is yet to get the former.

    There is no 125, not even for export. 200 is the lowest offering, specially made for india.
