KTM Indore dealership has disclosed this information to KTM RC390 – India Facebook page admin. All dealers across India will start bookings for RC390 on the day and the bike will be available (probably for delivery) after 10th September. It is still unclear if the bike will be called KTM RC 390 or 390 FF in India.
Unveiled at 2013 EICMA in Milan, RC 125, RC 200 and RC 390 will be manufactured at Bajaj Auto plant in India for domestic and export markets. Just like the fate of Duke series, only 200 and 390 models will be launched in India, 125 will be made only for export markets. KTM RC 200 is also expected to be launched in September 2014.
KTM RC 390 gets same engine spec as seen in Duke 390. The 373.2 cc 4 stroke single cylinder water cooled engine produces 44 PS maximum power and 35 Nm peak torque. Same 6 speed gearbox doing duty in KTM Duke 390 will be used in RC 390 as well.
