KTM RC 390 new spy shots, booking to open on 1st September 2014
KTM RC 390 sports bike is spied without camouflage. Recently is was revealed that RC390 will launch on 9th September 2014; now new information has come to light that order books will be open from 1st September onwards.
Unveiled at 2013 EICMA in Milan, RC 125, RC 200 and RC 390 will be manufactured at Bajaj Auto plant in India for domestic and export markets. Just like the fate of Duke series, only 200 and 390 models will be launched in India, 125 will be made only for export markets. KTM RC 200 is also expected to be launched in September 2014.
KTM RC 390 gets same engine spec as seen in Duke 390. The 373.2 cc 4 stroke single cylinder water cooled engine produces 44 PS maximum power and 35 Nm peak torque. Same 6 speed gearbox doing duty in KTM Duke 390 will be used in RC 390 as well. While power train remains same in both naked and full faired versions, there are a few dissimilarities in other parameters like chassis, suspension and such. continue reading…
