Lamborghini to reveal new GT Concept at Geneva Motor Show in March

In continued celebration of Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the Italian sportscar maker is getting ready for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with atleast two special cars, reports IndianDrives.

Where the Ferrari rivaling GT Concept is concerned, the car is expected to sport a V12 engine and will however, not be based on the Aventador platform. The new Aventador edition is also scheduled for Geneva though it will be produced in limited numbers. It will be a two door, two seater, just like the existing variant. The upcoming GT concept will have a front mounted engine and will feature all wheel drive system. There is no guarantee of it going into production. Like the Urus, Lamborghini is keen to know how customers will react to this vehicle.

Lamborghini is also working on pushing the Urus into production. The massive financial investment will however require the company to sell between 3000 to 4000 units per annum, a target which the company is confident of achieving. Lamborghini boss, Winkelmann told AutoCar that the decision on Uus SUV is no longer in their hands. It now depends on the parent, VW Group to give a green signal on the Lamborghini SUV.
