Lamborghini Aventador Spider by Oakley (Photos)

While the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Spider is yet to be revealed officially, Oakley Designs have managed to offer a topless version of the same. This top off model is designed by Oakley Designs and comes with a number of upgrades, including a new titanium exhaust system. Along with these upgrades, performance too is improved. Power output is expected to be increased by 60 hp from its 6.5 liter V12 engine which is now capable of 760 hp.

The new Aventador will also be lighter by 34 kgs off the standard model which now stands at 1,575 kgs. This camouflaged prototype here, which is known as Aventador LP760-4 Spider, was spied northern Sweden and is seen with fake roof parts so as not to disclose final features.

A closer examination revealed that the removable top was made out of carbon fiber as against cloth top seen on the Murcielago Roadster. Once launched, 2013 Aventador LP760-4 Spider is expected to be heavier than its coupe version, primarily due to the new chassis added to this year’s model.
