Mallika Sherawat says she has been gifted a Lamborghini Aventador SV

It’s no big deal when an actor buys a supercar, but surely fans like to celebrate the coveted purchase. Earlier today, Mallika Sherawat got on social media to give fans a glimpse of her new toy. She says it in few words, ‘Love my new Lamborghini’. It’s not revealed where the car was purchased but hers is a left hand drive Lamborghini Aventador, which she claims is the SV.

Here is her white Lamborghini Aventador, and we’re guessing she’s taken delivery of it today. The actor did discuss the car in a few short words on Twitter in early March referring to the Lamborghini Aventador SV she’s photographed in as a ‘Gift for me’. For days later, she posted another Tweet, ‘What’s the big deal, it’s just a car,’ using the same photo.

In reference to it being a gift, there’s no confirmation on whether the actor gifted herself the new hot wheels or it was in fact gifted to her by someone. It appears, a few years earlier, Mallika showed interest in buying a Rolls Royce but was turned down owing to a selection process wherein the auto manufacturer determines whom to call for test drives, and who should in fact own one of its beauties.

Of course, the exciting new ownership seems to have made the actor a bit goofy as she’s chosen to sit on its roof for a photo reveal. Most Lamborghini owners wouldn’t let anyone to even touch their car, leave alone take to its roof. She has shared a short video of her new car as well, but apart from a bye bye, you don’t actually see the actor drive off.

Love my Lamborghini:) #lamborghiniaventador #livinglife #fastdriving ????

Speaking about her claim of it being Aventador SV, that is highly unlikely. Lamborghini Aventador SV or SuperVeloce was revealed only last month, at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Powered by the same 6.5l V12, Aventador SV benefits from lighter body-weight, and better engine output. Compared to regular Aventador, the SV is 50 kgs lighter, and generates 50 PS more power.

Priced at about $500,000 (Rs 3 crores), Lamborghini is yet to start deliveries of the SV, which will only begin later this year. In such a scenario, how did Ms Sherawat get her hands on an Aventador SV? Would you care to guess?
