Lamborghini Aventador and Gallardo for Indonesian Police
After Italy and Dubai, cops in Indonesia too will get a chance to patrol in a Lamborghini. A Lamborghini Aventador and a Gallardo have been now added to the Indonesian Police supercar range. These two exclusive cars were put on display at a shopping mall in Jakarta recently, before they enter official service.
The new Lamborghini Gallardo added to the Indonesian Police list of cars to fight crime is seen finished with distinctive matte black with yellow stripes while the Aventador is painted in a while, blue and red colour scheme. These two Italian supercars will be used by Indonesian police and hence come in fitted with warning lights and all the paraphernalia necessary for it to tackle crime.
Aventador is the most powerful Lamborghini till date, while Gallardo is the best selling Lamborghini in history. Both these cars come with their share of fame.¬†Set to enhance image of Indonesian police department it is not sure how often these super cars will actually be pressed into service. These high performance Lamborghini sports cars are being displayed at a shopping mall with proper police tags and livery.
Speaking about Aventador, it features carbon fiber monocoque with aluminium front and rear frames. Engine is a 6.5l V12 generating 700 PS and 690 Nm torque. It has a top speed of 349 kmph and a 0-100 kmph time of 2.9 seconds.
Gallardo on the other hand built on a structural aluminium space frame, based on aluminium extruded parts welded to cast aluminium joint elements. Engine is in the form of a 5.2l V10 generating 550 PS and 540 Nm torque. It has a top speed of 325 kmph and a 0-100 kmph time of 3.4 seconds.
