A drive through the spectacular Scottish Highlands probably intended to burn some rubber ended in a complete burnout. This was the last of a supercar, and quite ironically the blue Lamborghini Gallardo went from car to smoke near a fort William hospital. It appears the engine bay started smoking, so the 40 something owner pulled by the hospital to get a fire extinguisher.

But sometimes that’s all the time you’ve got, and the Lamborghini Gallardo went from smoke to its fire grave within five minutes. A police report puts the cause of fire as fault in the vehicle. By the time the fire department doused the fire, all that was left of the blue Lambo was a burnt wreck. Croft Motors towed the wreck away.

This is what you call an expensive nightmare, and what’s worse is you have to see it through. The Gallardo came for GPB 150,000 (approx. $246,000) but now that’s’ a thing of the past. Though nothing’s left of this one, it does point a finger at the frequency of supercars catching fire with another ambo supercar being totaled at Norway earlier this manner in the same manner.
