Lamborghini Gallardo Gold Edition showcased at Shenzhen Hong Kong Macao Auto Show: Price $600,000 (Photos)

Demand for limited edition supercars is huge in China. Study and sales reports of the last few years, clearly indicates that China’s auto industry demand for supercars is increasing at a superfast pace. So every now and then, supercar makers try and launch special editions in China. Italian supercar maker Lamborghini revealed its Gold Edition Gallardo LP 560-4 at the Shenzhen Macao Auto Show in China’s Guangdong Province.

As expected, crowds watched the flawless creation with eyes wide open. The gold metallic paint gives the supercar its unique identity. Also included in the Gold edition package is a stylistic engine cover and stunning new alloys. The interior has been redesigned.

The dashboard, steering and seating has fine leather stitching with accents of red. The revamped ambient lighting adds aesthetic sense to the layout. The Gold Edition Gallardo LP 560-4 is priced at US $ 600,000, (3,000,000 Yuan) that makes it almost $200,000 more than the standard Gallardo price in China. Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 was officially unveiled at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show. The supercar is powered with a 5.2 liter V10 generating 560 PS and 540 Nm torque. It has a topspeed of 325 kmph and achieves 0-100 acceleration in just 3.7 seconds.
