Lamborghini’s new race car, 2013 Gallardo GT3 FL2 is seen in a lighter overall weight. This Gallardo racecar is about 55 pounds lighter than the standard version. Aero changes which include a new front splitter, rear diffuser and rear wing while ’24-hour’ brakes have been added which have been specially designed to enable the vehicle compete in endurance races.
Lamborghini has also confirmed a minimum five year agreement with Reiter Engineering as development and supply partner for Lamborghini GT3 vehicles. This comes due to the design company’s well developed engineering skills and an in-depth understanding of the Lamborghini brand. Lamborghini Squadra Corse team will be seen participating on motorsports series including Italian GT3 Championship, Asia Le Mans Series and Blancpain Super Trofeo Championships. Deliveries of 2013 Gallardo GT3 FL2 will commence from March this year while prices will start from €320,000 ($430,000).
