Italian supercar makers, Lamborghini have announced that as the Gallardo enters its 10th year of production, the end is nigh. This has been portrayed in a short 2 minute film, taking viewers through the journey of Gallardo from its start to the current model which also includes a webpage for buyer hopefuls to place their orders for the new 2013MY LP560 which will be coming in with 4 models before it is too late.
Lamborghini introduced their Gallardo LP560-4 MY 2012 at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The Spyder version of this model will come with larger air intakes and 19” alloy wheels adopting a new design called Apollo polished. The new Gallardo is painted matt black and will come with polished silver accents.
The Lambo convertible will be fitted with a new Style Package while engine will remain the same as a 5.2 liter V10 producing 560 hp at 8000 rpm and max torque of 540 Nm at 6500 rpm. The new Gallardo will weigh 1550 kgs and will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 324 kmph.
All new Gallardo’s will now carry the following statement, “It’s been a crazy beautiful ride for the past decade. One we’ve all enjoyed. And now the last Gallardo is here, the final masterpiece of the collection. Wind in your hair, smile on your face, foot to the floor. Italy personified. Drive it now, or regret it later.”
