Lamborghini Gallardo replacement first images?

New images, claiming to be first official images of the Lamborghini Gallardo successor, have leaked online. Rumored to be called Huracan or Cabrera, the new Lamborghini sports car might debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

Huracan, the upcoming Lamborghini car, is expected to be powered by an updated 5.2 liter V10 engine. It will be mated to a 6 speed manual or 7 speed twin clutch automatic transmission. The engine will be capable of 600 hp and will share its aluminum frame platform with the new Audi R8. Weight saving with extensive use of carbon fiber in its makeup will result in enhanced performance due to which acceleration will be highly efficient and top speed will be well over the 320 kmph mark.

There is no official news yet from the makers, whether these images are real, or just a computer generated render, using the spy pictures of the same car. Expected to enter into production next year, the new Lamborghini might get a new name, as against the existing rumor of it being named Cabrera (female goatherd in Spanish) or Huracan (Spanish for Hurricane). More details will be revealed once the car is revealed, probably at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. (Image | Renders)
