The same week Lamborghini unveiled their new sports car Huracan at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, it has been spotted in India. Huracan is the Gallardo replacing sportscar, offering a more powerful and efficient engine, along with improved dynamics.

Spotted at the Mumbai airport, the new Huracan is in India for a private screening in select cities, before the car is officially launched later this year. The 5.2l V10 of Huracan delivers 610 PS power and 560 Nm torque to all four wheels via 7 Speed DSG gearbox. This power output, coupled with lightweight body architecture (kerb weight – 1,422 kgs), gives the Huracan an impressive power to weight ratio of 2.33 kgs/hp.

Lamborghini Huracan in India Spy Shots (1)0-100 kmph is achieved in 3.2 seconds while 0-200 takes just 9.9 seconds. Top speed of Huracan is at 325 kmph. Lamborghini expects the Huracan to become their best-seller, surpassing their best selling car, Gallardo’s tally of 4,099 units. This is very possible, considering that they clocked 700 bookings for Huracan in the first month itself. This is This is huge for a brand who are yet to sell more than 2,406 cars in a calendar year.

Lamborghini Huracan in India Spy Shots (2)Autocar India managed to catch the car in India. They also reveal that it is going to be priced Rs 3.43 crores, ex-showroom Delhi. In Europe, the car is priced from £180k, where it competes with the McLaren MP4-12C and Ferrari 458 Italia.
