Lamborghini Huracan presented in new photos before India launch
Lamborghini Huracan, the latest Italian bull, which set hearts aflutter, has been showcased in India. It is scheduled to be launched by Sep 2014, with a starting price of Rs 3.4+ crores. But, before that, Lamborghini released a set of new photos of the Huracan, taken on a test drive at Ascari Circuit in Spain and across the mountainous regions of Marbella.
Faster and more powerful than its predecessor, Gallardo, the new Huracán LP 610-4 is powered by the newest version of Lamborghini’s naturally aspirated mid-mounted 5.2-liter V10 engine. This engine offers 602hp peak power at 8,250 rpm and 560 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm while it is mated to a 7 speed dual clutch transmission sending power to all four wheels via an electronically controlled four wheel drive system. This engine allows the new Huracan to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.2 second and from 0 to 200 kmph in 9.9 seconds while top speed is at 325 kmph.
Aggressive in stance and luxurious on the inside, the Huracan interiors are in a choice of leather and Alcantara. Buyers can also choose between power adjustable fixed racing seats as well. Filled to the gills with infotainment features, these include a gauge mounted 12.3 inch infotainment system which provides all information at the click of a switch. Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 competes with Ferrari 458 Italia, McLaren 650S, Audi R8, and Aston Martin V12 Vantage S.
