2013 Lamborghini Veneno revealed in Geneva
At the Volkswagen Group Night in Geneva a few hours ago, the all new Lamborghini Veneno was unveiled for the very first time in front of Volkswagen Group management officials and media personnel from around the globe.
Lamborghini has stated that special attention is paid to aerodynamic efficiency where the Veneno is concerned. It’s engine is based on Aventador’s 6.5 liter V12, but tweaked to offer 750 bhp, which is a good 50 hp more than what is seen on the Aventador. Top speed is at 221 mph while entire demeanor of the vehicle spells sports with its scissors doors and larger intake air vents.
Veneno chassis and out-body is made of carbon fiber reinforced composite material while interiors are also seen in carbon composites along with lightweight material on seats and other surfaces. The Veneno weighs 1,450 kgs, which makes it 125 kg lighter than the Aventador. Alloy sub frames are seen at the front and rear.
