Lamborghini’s new bull Veneno for 2013 Geneva is worth $4.7m, and is sold out
Lamborghini Veneno, the new bull from Santa’ Agata, Italy has been revealed via leaked images online. Priced at $4.7 million (INR 25.81 crores), Veneno celebrates 50th anniversary of Lamborghini’s existence as it gets ready for a global debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, tomorrow.
One would surely wonder that this is a huge price to pay, especially when the new age hypercars, Ferrari F150, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder, all of which are priced in the $1 million range, are just around the corner. But a special edition from Lamborghini, that marks its 50th anniversary and production limited to just 3 units, carries a price tag of its own.
Unlike other Lamborghini car names, Veneno does not mean a bull. It means ‘Poison’ in Spanish. Lamborghini Veneno’s V12 will generate peak power of 740 bhp and will deliver a top-speed of 220 mph (354 kmph), reports CarScoops. More details will be revealed from the launch floor in Geneva tomorrow. Stay tuned. HD image gallery is out.
