Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse: Meo Costantini, White and bronze, and purple at Dubai International Motor Show
This year’s Dubai International Motor Show saw Bugatti not only unveil the 3rd Legend car “Meo Costantini” for the first time to the public, but also bring 2 other stunning Grand Sport Vitesse to the show – among them the very first car on earth with exposed carbon fibre in purple.
Bugatti has presented their third model in six-part edition “Les Légendes de Bugatti” at the Dubai International Motor Show from November 5-9, 2013. This Legend car called Bugatti Meo Constantini Legend is especially dedicated to Meo Constantini, who was a close friend of Ettore Bugatti
Brokerage firm Sanford C. Bernstein has revealed a list of top 10 money losers in the auto world across Europe. This list features 10 cars, which are, Smart ForTwo, Fiat Stilio, Volkswagen Phaeton, Mercedes Benz A Class, Bugatti Veyron, Jaguar X Type, Renault Laguna, Audi A2, and Renault Vel Satis.
It may be remembered that Jean-Pierre Wimille was the longest serving test driver for Bugatti before World War II. He was killed in a car crash in 1949 and to pay homage to this legend, Bugatti has brought this Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Jean-Pierre Wimille Legend Edition to Pebble Beach where it is on display.
Arguably the best engineered road car today, Bugatti Veyron is a French masterpiece. Priced at $1.3 million (Rs 7.96 crores), it is also amongst most costliest cars available off the shelf. Apart from being limited in number, the huge price tag keeps the car reserved only for the super rich. But, if you want to rent the Veyron, it is now possible.
Bugatti, the French automobile brand has announced yet another round of limited edition models of their Veyron sports car. “Les Légendes de Bugatti”, or Legends of Bugatti joins the exclusive range of Veyron’s today. A total of six models will be introduced over the next 1 year, the first of which is now revealed (see images).
Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car or WRC was in news earlier this month, when it achieved a top speed of 408.84 kmph or 255.53 mph. They have now revealed a video of the same.
After a minor confusion, Bugatti is back on top and that too in less than a week. Guinness World Records has reinstated Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport as the fastest production car in the world.
Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, holder of the world record top speed of 431.072 kmph, has now been officially stripped off the title by Guinness World Records. No, its not because some other car has beaten Bugatti’s record, its just that John Hennessey brought something to Guinness’s attention.
