Hyundai Motors India Limited (HMIL) a subsidiary of HMC has reported a 1% increase in domestic sales during the month of June 2013. Total domestic sales to the tune of 30,610 units were effected by the company along with exports which stood at 24,057 units during the month of June 2013 as compared to exports in June 2012 which stood at 23,904 units.
While we await it’s launch in India, new Hyundai Santa Fe has made its way into Malaysian market. Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors have officially launched the vehicle, where the seven seater SUV will be offered in two engine choices while prices are set to commence from RM 163,888 (or INR 30.70 lakhs).
Hyundai has already confirmed their plan to introduce a new compact SUV in India, considering the rise in demand for such vehicles. Recently, Hyundai has been caught testing a new mini SUV in South Korea. Is this the car they are going to bring to India to compete with Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster?

Hyundai Motors India Limited (HMIL) has reported a 2.1% increase in total sales during the month of May 2013. Sales during the past month stood at 56,856 units as compared to sales in the same month of 2012 when HMIL recorded sales to the tune of 55,669 units.
