Jaguar F-Type ‘YOUR TURN’ comes to Chennai, Jaguar Land Rover 21% sales increase globally for 2013 July
Jaguar Land Rover has registered their best ever July performance with 31,611 vehicles sold last month, resulting in 21% sales growth. Jaguar accounted for 6,157 vehicles equating to 65% sales growth propelled by great results in China.
Jaguar Land Rover, the British car manufacturing firm under the leadership of India’s Tata Motors has shown a dramatic turnaround in sales and profit. JLR Chief Ralf Speth has confirmed plans to introduce 40 new models by 2018 and to double car production to 750,000 units by 2015.
Jaguar’s all new F-Type convertible sports car, which premiered at the Paris Motor Show last year, and was launched in India earlier this year, has been reported to have caught fire and burnt to ashes in Belgium. The images are disturbing, if you love sports cars.
Last week, JLR Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ralf Speth presented F-TYPE #1 to Jaguar Heritage at the Jaguar Gallery opening at Coventry Transport Museum. Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum, Jaguar Brand Director Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar Heritage Chairman Mike Oâ€™Driscoll, Coventry Transport Museum Chairman Joe Elliott, senior reps from the city of Coventry, and UK motor industry were present.
Jaguar will be unveiling a premium crossover at this yearâ€™s Frankfurt Motor Show in September, reveals Autoweek. Even if there is a Jaguar SUV on the Frankfurt floor, it is still not clear whether it will be in a concept form or just a pre-production study form.
