Luxury car makers Mercedes Benz, Audi and BMW have released their sales figures for the month of March 2013 where it may be noted that all three companies have seen tremendous growth.
Audi India has reported their best ever March sales by registering a record sales of 1104 units in the luxury car industry of India, which is a 10% increase, compared to sales registered in March 2012.
Ford India has sold 5,271 cars in March 2013, a decline by 41.6% compared to the 9,026 units sold in March 2012. This is the seventh consecutive month where Ford has registered a decline in car sales.
Porsche has revealed that 2012 was the best year in their entire history. The German car maker is on course to make 2013 even more successful as for January and February they have reported positive growth in sales. Apart from this, Porsche has revealed that they have received 16,500 applications for an opening of 1,000 permanent jobs at Leipzig plant for their new Macan.

Volkswagen India 16.13% sales decline for February 2012. In January 2013, Volkswagen Passenger Cars delivered 4,600 vehicles here as compared to 5,800 in the same month in 2012. When compared to 5200 vehicles sold in February 2013, VW India sold 6200 vehicles in February 2012.
