Honda’s ‘Big Bike Ride’ for Group Of Delhi Superbikers (GODS) was flagged off at Honda New Wing World Showroom at Naraina, Delhi. 25 riders from Group Of Delhi Superbikers participated.

Honda is now present in the Indian mass motorcycle segment. A basic sub-segment of 100-110cc motorcycle, which accounts for 23% of overall 70 lakh units sold annually in 100-110cc industry. New CD 110 Dream is Honda’s most affordable motorcycle here.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is the second largest two wheeler manufacturer in the country. They raced past Bajaj Auto last year, mainly due to the fact that Bajaj stopped selling scooters since 2009. Even then, Bajaj’s motorcycle sales were more than Honda’s. But it seems like Honda is fast catching up with Bajaj on that front as well.
Hero MotoCorp Ltd (HMCL), today reported 10% growth in Q2 2014 over over the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. Hero MotoCorp sold 17,15,129 two-wheelers in Q1 FY 2014-15 over 15,59,282 units sold in Q1 FY 2013-14.
Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) will launch a new premium bike in the 160cc segment aimed at younger set of buyers in urban cities in India. The launch is schedule to take place in the third quarter this year, between the July-September 2014 period.
PT Astra Honda Motor Indonesia will no longer import CBR 150R entry level sports bike from Thailand. It will henceforth be produced locally at Honda’s plant located in Karawang, West Java. After due processes are completed, Honda CBR 150R should come out after Eid or sometime in August 2014. No word about CBR 150R a.k.a Honda K45 facelift yet.
Yamaha Motor India launched FZ FI version 2.0 and FZ-S FI V2.0 yesterday with a list of feature upgrades, most importantly, surprising change in engine specification. First FZ model was launched back in 2008, same engine and mechanicals have been doing duty so long until now, but the bike received a lot of new colours and liveries over the years; all three- FZ, FZ-S and Fazer 150.
