KTM’s range of bikes comes in with a name that spells autocracy. Offered in shades of orange and black, these bikes have made their mark among buyers in India and abroad. Now, the company is on the brink of offering three new bikes, the fully faired variants of Duke 125, Duke 200 and Duke 390.
Showcased at 2013 EICMA events in Milan, Italy, the fully faired version of RC 390 will be manufactured at Bajaj Auto plant in Chakan, Pune and exported worldwide. A video highlighting the RC 390 draws attention to some of its notable features and some first in class specs.

Bajaj Auto, the country’s second largest motorcycle maker, is also the largest manufacturer in the Performance Sement. Their Pulsar and KTM brand motorcycle sales are on the rise. Bajaj Pulsar sales have crossed the 1.55 lakh mark while KTM sales have touched 35,000 in FY14.
Hero showcased Karizma R and Karizma ZMR at Delhi Auto Expo earlier this year and started selling this month. Karizma was debuted in May 2003 as first premium and high performance bike from Hero Motocorp. The 223 cc bike was considered to be racy and preferred by enthusiasts until Bajaj came up with high end Pulsar bikes, 200 and 220.
KTM takes GP fascination to streets via new RC series sports bikes made in India. RC 125, RC 200 and RC 390 manufactured in Bajaj’s Chakan plant in Pune, will soon be launched here minus RC 125, which is planned only for export to Europe.
KTM will begin marketing 1290 Super Duke R naked bike in Indonesia this month, at launch price of 475 million Rupiah (Rs. 23.79 lakhs approx.). Launched in United Kingdom last year at a price of £13,999 (Rs. 14.3 lakhs approx.), the high end 1.3 litre bike may launch in India as well at price range of Rs. 14 to 17 lakhs.
