KTM India is yet to completely bask in the glory of their Duke 390, and before that, it is now revealed they are going to launch more bikes based on the 390 Duke. The first will be RC200 and RC390, which are already spotted on test. After these, there will be an extensive lineup of bikes heading to markets during the current year.
Mahindra Two Wheelers are contemplating a new 160cc motorcycle pegged at the competitive 150cc two wheeler motorcycle segment in India. Though exact launch date of this 160cc bike has not been announced, estimates reveal an end 2014 launch.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) have planned another premium commuter bike under the Dream range. This new bike will be launched in first half of the next fiscal, by June 2014. Miami-based motorcycle manufacturer, UM Global, marked its entry into Indiaâ€™s motorcycle market at the Auto Expo, through Indian subsidiary, UM Motorcycles. They are entering the Indian auto industry in association with a local manufacturer, whose name is yet to be announced. The company had a host of models on display which included Falcon, Razor, Max and Venus, Street Fastwind and Nitrox.
