Hero MotoCorp is working towards launching a 250cc version of their Karizma ZMR motorcycle. To be on display at the 2014 Auto Expo in New Delhi/Greater Noida, the bike was spied on test in Gurgaon recently. Seen in extensive camouflage here, it is believed that the bike is still in development stage.

The past weekend PETRONAS Asia Road Racing Championship at Sriperumbudur saw Makoto Tamada record a double along with teammate Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman in the 600cc races in third round at Asia Dream Cup Race. Race 1 saw Tamada as a victor while in race 2 Tamada got off to a flying start but skidded half way through the race while high tyre temperature caused him to crash in the 9th lap.

Bajaj KTM introduced the new Duke 390 earlier this year. In India, the bike was launched last month with a starting price of Rs 1.8 lakh. Just like other Duke’s, this one too is a naked sports bike. So what about a version with full fairing at the front? Yes, that too is in the offing, but will take some time. While the two wheeler industry in the country continued with negative sales for third month in a row, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd., (HMSI) has recorded total sales of 252,114 units in June 2013. HMSI had sold 2,26,929 units in June 2012 registering an 11% increase in sales in the past month.

Police swooped down on youngsters performing dare devil motorcycle stunts at India Gate over the past weekend. Out for some fun and frolic, these young bikers caught the attention of police who carried out late night checking in the area. Cases were registered against motorcyclists, fines were slapped on all 84 bikers while 8 bikes were impounded.
Hero MotoCorp Ltd, a major two wheeler manufacturing company in India, is slated to be holding a series of talks with Fiat Group’s Magneti Marelli SpA. The two auto majors are vying for a system that is expected to contribute to better fuel efficient engines for motorcycles and scooters in the 150cc segment.
