Castrol India will be lubricant suppliers for Triumph Motorcycles in India. As per the new agreement, they will supply fully synthetic and high performance Castrol Power1 Racing engine oil to Triumph Motorcycles dealerships across India.
British motorcycle manufacturer, Triumph makes about 50,000 bikes each year and does business through 745 dealers in 54 countries. Triumph in India has been branching out at rapid pace ever since it launched 10 bikes on a single day back in November 2013.
With about 2,000 personnel employed globally, Triumph Motorcycles has subsidiary operations in UK, America, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan, Sweden, Benelux, Brazil, and India. Triumph has manufacturing facilities in Hinckley, Leicestershire and Thailand and assembly facilities in Brazil, and India. Triumph Motorcycles India launch 10 bikes across segments in November 2013 to begin operations here, followed by daytona 675 at the Auto Expo 2014.
Demand for superbikes in India is not much, but it is growing exponentially. Compared to ten years ago, the situation has completely changed. This demand has been further augmented by the entry of UK based premium and luxury superbike maker Triumph Motorcycles.
Triumph Motorcycles India Private Limited has today inaugurated its Shaman Triumph dealership in Mumbai. This is the company’s 6th dealership in India, the other 5 being in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Pune and Ahmedabad. 3 more dealerships are scheduled to open through 2014.

Having completed six months of operation in India and opening dealerships in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kochi, Triumph Motorcycles now heads to Pune, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. Pune got its first Triumph dealership today at Abhimanshree Society, Baner Road, Pune. This will be followed by another dealership being inaugurated in Ahmedabad on 1st May, and Mumbai on May 3rd.
Triumph Motorcycles India Private Limited has today inaugurated its Kochi dealership called Syamadynamic Motorcycles. Triumph Motorcycles already have a dealership in Bangalore and Hyderabad. Triumph Motorcycles India reports 326 bookings across 5 model categories. 3 more dealerships will be set up by 2nd May in Mumbai, Pune and Ahmadabad. 9 dealerships are planned for 2014.
It was at the end of last year that Triumph made its entry into Indian markets. Since then, the company has launched 10 models and opened two dealerships, one in Bangalore and the other in Hyderabad. Now Triumph India has started accepting bookings on its model range and added various details to its Facebook page.
