Atleast 1000 units of Maruti Ciaz sedan are seen produced and stocked at Manesar plant of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, which is spied by folks at Gaadiwaadi. They previously reported that about 600 units of diesel variants have already made it to stockyard.
Suzuki Alivio is spied in China along with its predecessor SX4. Suzuki Alivio will be launched in India as Maruti Ciaz, likely next month. Suzuki Alivio Concept was showcased at 2014 Beijing Motor Show in April , launch is pending in China. Maruti Ciaz Concept was premiered at 2014 Delhi Auto Expo in February.
Tata Motors launched Zest compact sedan at competitive price of Rs. 4.64 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) for base petrol variant and Rs. 5.64 lakhs for entry diesel version. Top end Zest petrol is priced at Rs. 5.99 lakhs and diesel Rs. 6.99 lakhs for high end as well as for AMT variant.
