Renault-Nissan Alliance showcased a number of upcoming offerings at 2014 Auto Expo. The company has previewed Datsun Redi-Go Concept, Go hatchback and 7 seater Go+ MPV. Apart from this, they have also confirmed a new small car that will take on Maruti Suzuki Alto, Hyundai Eon and Chevrolet Spark in a segment that makes up for about 40-45% of the entire car market in India.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio hatchback, launched at 2014 Auto Expo seems to have gained the instant attention of Indian buyers. It is now revealed that the manufacturer has received about 20,000 bookings for the Celerio in the first 20 days of launch.
Launched already in India, Honda is now getting ready to launch the City sedan in Malaysia. The car was recently previewed at an event, before it’s official launch next month. To be offered in four trims, New City will be launched with one engine option in Malaysia – 1.5l i-VTEC petrol offering 120 PS power and 145 Nm torque.
Hero MotoCorp have confirmed launch of a at least two new motorcycles which will take place this fiscal. These are in the form of Splendor Pro Classic Cafe Racer, and Passion Pro TR. Both of these were showcased at the recently concluded Delhi Auto Expo.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited, leading automakers in India, will launch facelift versions of both Swift hatchback and DZire compact sedan later this year. Swift and DZire facelift versions will feature changes to the exterior and interiors, while engine options are expected to remain the same.
