17 year old Singaporean driver Ni Weiliang on the Asia Racing Team and competing in the AFR Series Round 5 and 6 was seen at at Zhuhai International Circuit on 15th and 16th June 2013. A notable fact is that Weiliang is the youngest racer on the grid and will be making his motoring debut with team mates Leo Wong and Thomas Luedi.
British car journo Chris Harris took to the wheels of the street legal Formula Ford race car powered by the 1.0l EcoBoost engine. This three cylinder engine with a new ECU and turbocharger from its 1.6 liter Turbo EcoBoost unit is light, sharp and highly responsive and has been tweaked for 170 hp.

From 2014, Williams F1 Team will receive their engines from Mercedes Benz. Currently, they use engines made by Renault. An agreement has been reached between the British and German brand, following which Williams Formula One cars will use Mercedes Benz engines.
In the 1st weekend of May, Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup entered its fourth season at Hockenheim ring. There were a total of 19 enthusiastic racers from 10 countries participating in the event, as they competed with 4 seasoned motorsport drivers.
