European car sales, which were on a decline since Sep 2011, have seen a positive growth for the first time in 19 months. A rise in April 2013 sales for EU was due to increased consumer confidence in German markets.
A group of seven Russian explorers have set a chilling new record for the automotive industry. Using two makeshift cars, powered around a 2.0L Toyota engine, they have managed to do something which was never done before on a set of wheels. They have traversed from Russia to Canada, via North Pole, making them the first team ever to do so.

The route for Gumball 3000 will see the rally go from Copenhagen to Monte Carlo. beginning at Copenhagen on 18 May, drivers moved to Stockholm, and then to Helsinki. Further stages in the route include St. Petersburg, Tallinn, Riga, Warsaw and Vienna. The rally ends at Monaco to co-incide with the F1 weekend.
It was 1960 when Barry Moore bought his first Jaguar, the iconic British marquee, now owned by Tata Motors. At that time, more than half a century back, Barry paid £475 for the car. Last week, this 74 year old British gentleman, bought his 47th Jaguar, for a sum of £70,000, and it’s their latest, F-TYPE.
Hyundai Motor India has oft been spoken about in recent days in regards to the launch of a new small car here. While exports have been steady, Hyundai’s domestic sales have been reporting a sales decline.
