Lightning McQueen at Mumbai Oberoi and Korum Mall until 28th April. It is on a three week tour of India where it will be making its way to exclusive SIMBA stores across the country.
A life sized Lightning McQueen is being displayed in select malls in Mumbai from April 22 to 28, 2013. Up on display at Oberoi Mall in Goregaon East and Korum Mall in Thane, the ever smiling red car has drawn the attention of young and old. Exelixi Management Company also organized a special showing for the underprivileged kids of Apnalaya NGO at the Oberoi Mall on April 24, 2013. These children enjoyed a fun filled afternoon with the bright red Lightening McQueen causing quite a lot of excitement.
Measuring 10×4 feet, children took photographs with the the special charcter from Cars and Cars 2. Photos were printed instantly andpresented to the children in a special Lightning McQueen frame. Kids were also taken for a tour of the SIMBA store and each of them received a gift hamper as a special treat. The life sized Lightning McQueen comes to India after touring a host of other countries. It is on a three week tour of India where it will be making its way to exclusive SIMBA stores across the country.
Currently in Mumbai, the vehicle will make its way to Bangalore and Delhi after the weekend. Excitement around the Lightning McQueen display is hard to miss with children hugging the car, and msot others smiling as they pass. The initiative goes a great away in forging a bond with Lightning McQueen in full form, in moviesw or through scale models. Depending on scale model measurement, the toy cars are available in a price range of Rs 1,700 – Rs 5,000.
