Mahindra Two Wheelers are contemplating a new 160cc motorcycle pegged at the competitive 150cc two wheeler motorcycle segment in India. Though exact launch date of this 160cc bike has not been announced, estimates reveal an end 2014 launch.
Once launched, the new 160cc from Mahindra Two Wheelers will have a host of competitors in the Indian bike market which will include TVS Apache RTR 160, Yamaha FZ variants, Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTSi, Hero Xtreme, Honda Unicorn and the recently announced Suzuki Gixxer.

These two vehicles will be in the form of a 110cc automatic scooter and a Mahindra Mojo 300 sportsbike, both of which will compete with Honda Activa and Honda CBR250 and KTM Duke 200/390 respectively. Extensive plans for expansion are on the cards where Mahindra 2 Wheeler is concerned, the company has also invested in an R&D facility near Pune for the development of its new models.
