The new Mahindra Arjun NOVO 605 DI-I -4WD is the technologically advanced and stylishly designed tractor, claims Mahindra. It is the new tractor to be launched Mahindra’s Arjun NOVO series, which was first launched last year in August. The first two tractors in the Arjun NOVO series were 57HP – 605DI-I & 52HP – 605DI-PS.
Speaking about their new tractor, Mahindra says that it will be available at attractive introductory price for a limited period of time. But, there is no mention of price in the official statement. Considering that the Arjun NOVO 57 HP without 4WD drive system is priced from INR 10 lakh for the air conditioned variant, the 4WD variant which was launched today will be a bit more than that.
Mahindra says that the new variant carries forward the technological advancement of the Arjun NOVO and sets a benchmark in the 57HP category. This variant is particularly suited for wet cultivation and offers a supreme level of mechanization when used with agriculture implements like Tractor Mounted Combined Harvester, Gyrovator, Dozer, and Loader, Primary Tillage and Haulage applications.
Features on offer with the new Mahindra Arjun NOVO 4WD tractor include
Heavy duty 4WD Axle – The heavy duty 4WD axle distributes power to all four wheels of the tractor, allowing it to work in all types of soil conditions. This mode is specially suited for wet land cultivation.
Synchro-shuttle – This features is best for the quick forward & reverse movements. A single hand operated lever can reverse the tractor at the same speed. This not only offers ease of driving, but also results in fatigue-free long working hours.
Multiple speed options – Mahindra Arjun NOVO 4WD tractor comes with industry first 15 Forward and 15 Reverse options. It also gets highest number of speed options available in the category, which enhances versatility. Speed range can be between 1.71 kmph to 33.5 kmph, allowing the driver to carry out varied tasks.
Other features include engine delivering high torque & power at minimum RPM, best in class lift capacity (2200 kgs), precision hydraulic systems, ergonomically designed operator station, flat platform & car like suspended pedals, low maintenance- longer service interval and best in class fuel efficiency.
