Mahindra Bolero has certainly wowed the Indian auto market this past decade. The car continues to grow in popularity, and demand in cities follows an upward graph. After its initial launch, the car did brilliantly in tier II and tier III cities. The Mahindra Bolero was relaunched in 2007.

Increase in demand is causing the company to seriously consider supply issues. The company is dealing with a backlog of 4 to 6 weeks. This is obviously good news, and calls for expansion considering Mahindra is selling about 70,000 Balero's annually. The Bolero will soon be reintroduced as a result of their product launch. Alongside, talks are on to facilitate capacity expansion, so the company is able to meet demand.

The Mahindra Bolero is fitted with a 2500 cc, 4-cylinder diesel engine that guarantees max power of 72.5 hp. A strong chassis and its powerful body make the car a hit on Indian roads, and needs, especially in the outskirts, and smaller cities.
