Mahindra Centuro drives two wheeler 66% sales increase in August 2013
Mahindra Two Wheelers Limited continued with their strong presence in the two wheeler segment in the month of August 2013. Sales during the month increased 66% as they stood at 17,719 units with domestic sales accounting for 15,346 units, an increase of 53% over the same month in 2012
Centuro is completely an in-house design, formulated at the company’s R&D Center in Pune. This motorcycle that has attracted the attention of biking enthusiasts in the country due to its outstanding and innovative features. It possesses a MCi-5 Micro Chip ignited 5 curve engine offering peak output of 8.5 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 8.5 Nm torque at 5,500 rpm. The company’s August volumes stood at 17719, a growth of 66%, while domestic volumes stood at 15346 units, a growth of 53% over the previous year.
